Bank of America Securities is hired by Dan and Tanya Snyder to look into prospective selling opportunities

Dan and Tanya Snyder, the owners of the Washington Commanders, announced in a statement on Wednesday that they had retained Bank of America Securities to help them evaluate prospective deals, including the sale of the franchise. According to the statement, “The Snyders are dedicated to the club, all of its personnel, and its voluminous fan base to presenting the greatest product on the field and continuing the effort to establish the gold standard for workplaces in the NFL.” A Commanders spokeswoman said that “we are examining all alternatives” when asked if Dan Snyder is thinking about selling the entire business or just a portion of it. According to a story from Forbes published on Wednesday, Snyder hired Bank of America Securities to investigate his options, which included selling “the entire NFL franchise or a minority ownership.” According to Forbes, Snyder has received at least four inquiries from organizations looking to purchase the franchise.
