Deshaun Watson, a former quarterback, is accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior while receiving massage therapy, and the Houston Texans are being sued for it. The team is charged with knowledge of Watson’s alleged behavior during massage therapy sessions in the complaint, which was filed on Monday in Harris County, Texas, and claims that “individuals inside the Texans organization knew or should have known of Watson’s conduct.” According to the complaint, the Texans gave Watson access to equipment so that he could carry out his treatment sessions, including “rooms set up for him at the Houstonian Hotel, massage tables supplied to him for private massage sessions, and an NDA provided to him from the head of Texans’ security.” The Texans issued a statement on Monday stating, “We are aware of the complaint brought against us today. “We have cooperated extensively with law enforcement and several investigations since March 2021. We will keep taking the appropriate actions to respond to the accusations made against our company.” Watson’s hearing will begin soon, and it is reported that he already reached confidential settlements with 20 of the 24 women.
