Russell Wilson left a Denver Broncos loss with a further injury, adding insult to injury. Wilson had a hamstring injury during the Broncos’ defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night, according to Denver head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett declined to elaborate or say whether Wilson’s future availability was a worry. Wilson stated that he was hurt in the fourth quarter but did not provide much other details. The Broncos dropped to 2-4 after suffering their third straight defeat. Wilson started off well, completing his first 10 throws, including a touchdown pass of 39 yards to rookie Greg Dulcich. He finished the day, though, 15 of 28 for 188 yards. Wilson needed a surgery to ease some pain in his throwing shoulder following a Week 5 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts. He was observed wearing a bandage on his shoulder throughout the game on Monday. It appears that losses are increasing concurrently with injuries.
