Russell Wilson, the quarterback of the Denver Broncos, intends to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night despite being labeled as restricted in the team’s walkthrough on Tuesday due to a shoulder issue. Wilson informed the media that he is “very sure” that he will play on Thursday without any restrictions. Early in the season, Wilson and the Broncos’ offense have had trouble. In the Sunday defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders, the quarterback completed 17 of his 25 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns. Wilson has failed to pass for more than 240 yards in any of the previous three games (340 yards in Week 1 in Seattle). The quarterback, 33, isn’t concerned that the shoulder ailment will hinder him over the short week. Wilson stated, “I believe that when you play in a competitive game, you get banged up a few times here and there. What a unique moment and chance for us, Thursday night,” I said.
