The Los Angeles Rams’ championship journey came to a successful conclusion with the Super Bowl LVI ring presentation on Thursday night. Additionally, it signalled the start of their effort to succeed again in 2022. When he arrived at training camp the following morning—which officially starts on Saturday when all players report—Rams coach Sean McVay phrased it that way. McVay prefers the rapid turnaround after their season-ending party in 2021. McVay said on Friday, “It was sort of wonderful timing because it now offers an opportunity to turn the page. Let’s not downplay what a fantastic year last year was, but that won’t affect this year at all.” In 2022, the Rams will attempt to become the first repeat champions in the NFL in 18 years. McVay thinks the entire organisation must maintain its vigilance in order to prevent the dreaded Super Bowl hangover. To date, neither official nor unofficial remarks have been made in opposition to these claims.
