The Seattle Seahawks are welcoming back an old acquaintance after an offseason filled with experienced departures. not to play once more. One of the finest linebackers in team history, K.J. Wright signed a one-day deal with the Seahawks on Wednesday so he could leave the team as an employee.
Wright, a fourth-round choice in 2011, swiftly rose to the position of importance on one of the most renowned defenses that won Super Bowl XLVIII and advanced to the next. Wright has 941 tackles, 66 tackles for losses, 13.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, six interceptions, and 144 games (140 starts) in his ten seasons with the Seahawks. He was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2016.
These were Wright’s significant on-field accomplishments. The former Walter Payton Man of the Year Award finalist was also known for his generosity and philanthropy off the field, both in his native Seattle and internationally. Wright was a member of the Las Vegas Raiders prior to this deal.
