Injury updates for Kyle Juszczyk and Deebo Samuel

In Week 8, the San Francisco 49ers will be missing one of their key players, and the availability of one of their most important playmakers is reason for concern. According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, wide receiver Deebo Samuel is battling with a hamstring issue and is listed as day to day, while fullback Kyle Juszczyk underwent surgery for a fractured finger and will likely miss Week 8’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. One of the Niners’ most potent offensive threats is Samuel, who had five catches for 42 yards and one rush attempt against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in a 44-23 loss. Six-time Pro Bowler Juszczyk is in his sixth year with the Niners. Shanahan claims that on Sunday, he shattered his finger on a stiff arm. Due to Los Angeles’ recent bye, the 49ers will try to defeat the Rams on Sunday. San Francisco won’t have Juszczyk, but they’re probably hoping Samuel’s hamstring won’t prevent him from playing.
