Hollywood Brown is authorized by the Cardinals to resume practice

Hollywood Brown, a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, was designated to return off injured reserve on Wednesday, giving him a 21-day window to be activated to the 53-man roster. Brown is working his way back onto the field after spending the previous four weeks on the sidelines, beginning with his return to practice on Wednesday. And given that coach Kliff Kingsbury suggested on Wednesday that there’s a potential that Brown may be ready to play for Arizona’s Monday night matchup against the 49ers in Mexico City in five days, his official return to the roster may happen sooner rather than later. In Week 6’s defeat to the Seattle Seahawks, Brown suffered an injury while jumping to try to catch a late-game ball but landed awkwardly as the pass was intercepted. After receiving a non-surgical foot fracture diagnosis, Brown was given the injury reserve designation. Brown will return to practice after four weeks, the very minimum time needed for an IR stay, contrary to the initial anticipation that this sort of injury would need six weeks to heal from.
