Week 3 is when the No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft is expected to make his debut. Kayvon Thibodeaux, a defensive end for the New York Giants, is now officially active and will make his career debut when Big Blue hosts the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Thibodeaux missed the first two weeks of his rookie season due to an MCL strain.
Unfortunately for the Giants, wide receiver Kadarius Toney and defensive lineman Leonard Williams will not be playing since they were both questionable before the game. At this time, both are on injury reserve.
On Aug. 22, Thibodeaux was hurt during a preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals and was listed as doubtful heading into Monday. The Oregon product was expected to be available for the opening game of the season or by Week 2, but Thibodeux’s first game was postponed until Week 3.
