Eljiah Moore requests a trade, but there are no such intentions on his team

Elijah Moore, a wide receiver with the New York Jets, has put in a trade request because he is dissatisfied with his role and use on the club. The Jets do not, however, intend to move Moore. In Sunday’s victory over the Packers, he was not officially targeted once, however one ball in his general way occurred on a play that was called back due to a penalty. Moore was excused from practice on Thursday due to a personal matter involving his family and will be spending time with them, according to Jets head coach Robert Saleh. On the team’s practice report, Moore was officially noted as a DNP as being unaffected by an injury. Moore has started each of the Jets’ six games during their unexpected 4-2 start, but his playing time has decreased. Moore had only one grab on four targets in Week 5, then had zero targets against Green Bay, after catching 15 passes (on 25 targets) for a total of 192 yards in the previous four games.
