The Carolina Panthers are preparing for a season of change after Matt Rhule was fired as head coach at the beginning of Week 6. Before the end of the year, star running back Christian McCaffrey could be packing for a move. The majority of clubs are showing the greatest interest in McCaffrey, and the running back was questioned about his future on Wednesday. McCaffrey didn’t have anything to say, as expected. “Avoiding having that notion in my head. I have no control over it,” said McCaffrey. “I’m attempting to exert control over things I can. I’m a Carolina Panther right now, and I’m giving this city all I’ve got.” In 2019, McCaffrey’s final season of substantial impact, he broke the 1,000-yard barrier in both receiving and running yards. He has been nothing short of a model employee for the Panthers. Since then, McCaffrey’s aspirations of continuing to play a significant role in the Panthers’ plans have often been dashed by injuries.
