Free-agent pass rusher Carl Nassib has launched a new collaboration with The Trevor Project in honor of Pride Month, promising to match all contributions made to the charity up to $100,000. A nonprofit organization called The Trevor Project provides LGBTQ children with programs for mental health and suicide prevention. Nassib posted a video to Instagram on Sunday wishing everyone a good Pride Month. “I also want to reiterate the significance of Pride to me. There is a young person stating, ‘I would rather be dead than homosexual,’ right now. And for that reason, I’m teaming up with the Trevor Project once more and matching donations up to $100,000. As the first active player in the NFL to come out as homosexual in June 2021, Nassib made NFL history. He also mentioned that he will be giving $100,000 to The Trevor Project at that event. Nassib’s contribution was matched by the NFL and the Las Vegas Raiders.
