Being in Buffalo is the best circumstance Jordan Poyer can imagine

Safety Jordan Poyer says he loves playing in Buffalo and wants to stay there long enough to win the club a championship as negotiations over a contract extension continue between the Bills and Poyer. And based on his performance this season, that wish could come true. Poyer made it clear that he sought an extension after having a career year last season by refusing to participate in voluntary workouts last month (though he did participate in mandatory minicamp). Poyer made it plain that he still intends to stay in Buffalo for the foreseeable future, despite the fact that negotiations are still ongoing and there is no conclusion in sight. “The crew is composed of such an awesome set of guys. I constantly tell the new recruits, ‘You truly won’t ever be among a better set of men,’ when they first arrive” said Poyer. “I truly can’t think of a better place for me to be in than Buffalo right now. Just the relationships that we developed in Buffalo are relationships that we’ve built over the years that are really second to none.”
