Bears acquire N’Keal Harry from the Patriots

A year ago, N’Keal Harry desired to leave New England. On Tuesday, his desire came true. According to many sources, the Patriots swapped their prior first-round pick with the Chicago Bears for a seventh-round pick in 2024. In other words, both parties benefited from the situation. Harry was the first highly selected player at the position to come to New England in a long time, but he never lived up to the Patriots’ expectations. When he joined New England, the Patriots were going through an odd period of change at the quarterback position, and he only participated in seven games as a rookie. He also never topped 350 receiving yards in a season. Harry was eager for a change of scenery when 2021 rolled around, but instead of getting it, he barely made the team’s 53-man roster, played in 12 games (four starts), and caught only 12 receptions as teammates Kendrick Bourne and Jakobi Meyers flourished under rookie quarterback Mac Jones.
