Khari Willis is giving up football after just three NFL seasons. On Wednesday, the Colts’ safety made his retirement known on Instagram. In a statement, Willis said, “I’d first like to thank the Indianapolis Colts organization for giving me the chance to participate in the National Football League the last three years.” “I’ve decided to formally leave the NFL after much prayer and thought in order to devote the rest of my life to the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ. I want to thank my family, friends, and anybody else who has helped me along the way. I also hope you will continue to do so as I go on in my life. We really appreciate your support over the years.” The Colts acknowledged Willis’ retirement and wished him luck in his future endeavors. In 2020, Willis had a defense grade of 70.5.
