The Eagles are preparing to play the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football during Dallas Week in Philadelphia. Coach Nick Sirianni of the Eagles’ first priority is to shield Jalen Hurts from Micah Parsons and a fierce Cowboys pass rush.
While doing so, you’re also attempting to prevent their greatest players from sabotaging the game, Sirianni said on Monday. “You’re trying to put your guys in the best position to succeed. Parsons will thus be included in every play. That is not to say that he won’t occasionally make a play. He is a truly exceptional player. We all likely understand that. The league is aware of that. He has done so for the past 1.5 years. As a result, we as coaches need to do our jobs and place the athletes in situations where they can perform at their best while also defeating their best.”
