Ohio is where Kareem Hunt wants to end his career

Runner for the Browns Kareem Hunt was born in Ohio, attended college there, and, if he gets his way, will complete his NFL career there as well. Hunt is entering the fourth and final year of his deal with the Cleveland Browns. He turns 27 in August. His preferred course of action is to negotiate a new contract that would keep him with the team for many more years. Hunt said to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com on Thursday, “I was born and bred here. I’d want to conclude my career here and just play the game longer with Nick Chubb and with the amazing people on this fantastic squad”. Last year, Hunt found it difficult to stay on the field; 522 of his 560 total yards from scrimmage came in the team’s first six games. After missing five games due to a calf injury, Cleveland’s change-of-pace RB returned for just two more weeks and 11 touches before an ankle injury effectively terminated his season. Before retiring, Hunt also hopes to win a Super Bowl for Ohio.
