James Conner was on a different level for Pittsburgh, recording 110 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts, along with 75 yards and a score on four catches. Matt Ryan went 26-for-38 for 285 yards and one touchdown while Matt Schaub was five-of-seven for 20 yards. Devonta Freeman (32 rushing yards on eight attempts) mounted the ground game in the defeat while Austin Hooper (nine receptions, 77 yards) and Julio Jones (five catches, 62 yards) led the pass-catching corps.
