The Eagles have gained 1.0 unit so far in 2019 and are 0-1 against the spread (ATS). The team has posted an O/U record of 1-0.

The Eagles are hoping to stay undefeated after a 32-27 win over Washington last week where Carson Wentz completed 28 passes on 39 attempts for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Miles Sanders (only 25 rushing yards on 11 attempts) propelled the running attack in the win while DeSean Jackson (eight receptions, 154 yards, two TDs) and Zach Ertz (five catches, 54 yards) manned the receiving duties.

Atlanta just dropped a 28-12 game to Minnesota in Week 1. The team’s defense let the Vikings eat up the clock by running for 172 yards on 38 rush attempts, including three rush TDs. Dalvin Cook had a productive showing in the win, recording 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts for Minnesota. For Atlanta, Matt Ryan completed 33-of-46 passes for 304 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Devonta Freeman (19 rushing yards on eight attempts) mounted the ground game in the defeat as Austin Hooper (nine receptions, 77 yards) and Julio Jones (six catches, 31 yards, one TD) led the receiving attack.

It appears that the Eagles should own an advantage in the trenches, as their offensive line gave up only 40 sacks last season while their D-line registered 44 sacks. The Falcons O-line gave up 42 sacks last year and their defense recorded only 37 sacks.

These two franchises faced off last year with the final result being an 18-12 win for Philadelphia.
