Vermont Catamounts vs. Bradley Braves Betting Preview

The Catamounts lost to the No. 5 Kentucky Wildcats in their last outing, 73-69. Anthony Lamb had a solid performance for Vermont, putting up 15 points and seven rebounds. Kentucky did an excellent job of converting from the charity stripe (18-23; 78.3 percent). Vermont, on the other hand, had a better turnover percentage (9.9 vs. 13.1). The last time the Braves played, they topped the Delaware Fightin Blue Hens, 61-53. Bradley was lifted by Donte Thomas, who recorded seven points and 10 rebounds. The Braves had a much better turnover percentage (11.2 vs. 20.5) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (41.3 vs. 32.4). The ineffective offense of Bradley will clash against the stingy defense of Vermont. Since last season, the Braves rank 323rd in offensive efficiency, while the Catamounts are 25th in defensive efficiency. The Catamounts should have the advantage on that end of the court. Since last season, the Catamounts have had records of 29-6 straight up (SU) and 5-5 against the spread (ATS). Vegas has had a tendency to set the total high when Vermont is involved since last season as 70.0 percent of their games have gone under the projected point total. On the other hand, the Braves, are 15-20 SU and 18-14-1 ATS since last season. Bradleys games have finished over the O/U total 54.5 percent of the time over that same stretch.
