VCU Rams at St. Bonaventure Bonnies Betting Odds

Both teams were triumphant in their last game. The Bonnies barely escaped the Duquesne Dukes 51-49, while the Rams beat the George Washington Colonials 60-50.

VCU played a nearly flawless game. They had a ridiculous offensive rebounding percentage of 37.1 (above their season average of 29.6) and a turnover percentage of 18.4 (worse than their season average of 18.2). For those same stats, George Washington was 21.9 and 24.1, respectively. The Bonnies, meanwhile, had an absurd offensive rebounding percentage of 38.2 (above their season average of 28.9), while the Dukes had a turnover percentage of 21.5 (above their season average of 17.8). Osun Osunniyi led the way for St. Bonaventure, recording nine points, 22 rebounds and six blocks. Marcus Santos-Silva, meanwhile played a key role for VCU with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bonnies won the lone game between these two teams last year, 68-63. St. Bonaventure’s 0.273 free throw rate was their biggest advantage over VCU, who had a rate of 0.065. This will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams.

The ineffective offense of St. Bonaventure will clash against the top-notch defense of VCU. The Bonnies rank 297th in offensive efficiency, while the Rams are sixth in defensive efficiency. The Rams should have the edge on that end of the court.
