UNCG Spartans vs. Samford Bulldogs ATS Odds

In their last outing, the Bulldogs lost big to the Furman Paladins, 101-78, while the Spartans won big over the Chattanooga Mocs, 72-52.

UNCG played a nearly perfect game. They had a turnover percentage of 14.4 (worse than their season average of 14.3) and an effective field goal percentage of 0.523 (above their season average of 0.501). Chattanooga put up marks of 24.2 and 0.433, respectively, for those same stats. Samford, on the other hand, did a fantastic job of converting from the free throw line (16-20; 80.0 percent). Samford rallied around Josh Sharkey, who recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Isaiah Miller, meanwhile played a pivotal role for UNCG with 26 points and five rebounds.

The Spartans dominated this series last year, securing victories in all three contests. In the last contest, UNCG won 77-70. UNCG did a great job of getting and making free throws (23-30; 76.7 percent). Samford, on the other hand, had a better turnover percentage (13.9 vs. 14.2). This will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams.

This could end up being a mistake-prone game for the Samford offense.
