St. Bonaventure Bonnies at VCU Rams ATS Odds

In their last outing, the Rams lost to the 13th-ranked Dayton Flyers, 79-65, while the Bonnies defeated the Massachusetts Minutemen, 74-61.

St. Bonaventure played a nearly perfect game. They had a great turnover percentage of 9.4 (better than their season average of 16.5) and an offensive rebounding percentage of 36.1 (above their season average of 31.3). Massachusetts was 15.2 and 22.6, respectively, for those same stats. VCU, meanwhile, forced Dayton into a turnover percentage of 24.1 (above their season average of 16.2). VCU was led by De’Riante Jenkins, who recorded 16 points. Dominick Welch had a good outing for St. Bonaventure, recording 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Rams won the only contest between these two teams last year, 85-55. VCU had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.557 vs. 0.273). St. Bonaventure, on the other hand, had a better turnover percentage (15.6 vs. 18.4). This is the first time these teams will battle this year.

The offense of VCU will square off against the stingy defense of St. Bonaventure. The Rams rank 184th in offensive efficiency, while the Bonnies are 81st in defensive efficiency. The Bonnies should have the edge on that side of the ball.
