On the offensive side of the ball, Daniel Jones completed just 21-of-38 passes for 182 yards, along with a score and a pick. Jon Hilliman (20 yards on nine rush attempts) led the running attack in the loss. Evan Engram (six receptions, 42 yards) and Sterling Shepard (five catches, 49 yards) handled the receiving duties.
New England is coming off of a 33-7 win over Washington in Week 5. The defensive unit let the Redskins run for 145 yards on 20 rush attempts, along with one rushing TD. Steven Sims Jr. had a productive showing in the loss, recording 65 rushing yards and a score on one attempt for Washington. For New England, Tom Brady completed 28-of-42 passes for 348 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Sony Michel (91 rushing yards on 16 attempts, one TD) spearheaded the ground game in the win while Julian Edelman (eight receptions, 110 yards, one TD) and White (six catches, 46 yards) led the pass-catching attack.
New York’s run the ball on 36.3 percent of its offensive possessions this year while New England has an overall rush percentage of 42.3 percent. The Giants have run for 116 yards per game and have five touchdowns via handoffs this year. The Pats are putting up 99 rush yards per game and have six total rushing TDs.
