In their last matchup, the Hatters defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks, 63-56, while the Bisons lost big to the eighth-ranked Auburn Tigers, 86-59.
Stetson played a nearly flawless contest. They had an extraordinary free throw rate of 0.533 (above their season average of 0.257) and an effective field goal percentage of 0.433 (below their season average of 0.493). South Carolina recorded marks of 0.222 and 0.407, respectively, for those same stats. Lipscomb, meanwhile, had a better turnover percentage (17.0 vs. 16.2). Jahlil Rawley had a good game for Stetson, contributing 16 points and five rebounds. Lipscomb, meanwhile, was lifted by KJ Johnson, who contributed 17 points.
