On September 28, Wyoming knocked off this UNLV crew by a score of 53-17. The Rebels defense allowed the Cowboys to eat up the clock by rushing for 374 yards on 48 attempts, including five rush TDs. Titus Swen had a productive showing in the win for Wyoming, accounting for 136 rushing yards and a score on 14 attempts. As a group, the Rebels collectively completed 22-of-44 passes for 263 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Kenyon Oblad went 16-for-31 for 176 yards and two interceptions while Armani Rogers was six-of-13 for 87 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Darran Williams (30 rushing yards on 11 attempts) spearheaded the ground game in the defeat while Randal Grimes (six receptions, 66 yards) and Giovanni Fauolo Sr. (four catches, 83 yards, one TD) led the receiving attack.

Boise State has run the ball on 52.2 percent of its offensive possessions this year while UNLV has a rush percentage of 55.7 percent. The Broncos have run for 153.5 yards/game and have six touchdowns via handoffs this year. The Rebels are putting up 201.5 rush yards per game and have 11 total rushing TDs.
