In the Monday night matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the divisional New York Giants, standout linebacker Micah Parsons, who is in his second season, will give it a go. Parsons is there for Dallas’ Week 3 NFC East game against New York despite being unwell. The match will begin ET at 8:15. Along with tight end Dalton Schultz and wide receiver Michael Gallup, Parsons was a game-time decision. It will be at least another week before Gallup makes his season debut because he is inactive. Schultz is likewise dormant. Parsons’ presence is enormous for a squad that is already in deep trouble after losing quarterback Dak Prescott. Parsons, who was already regarded as one of the best defensive players in the league and who won the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2021, has been even more impressive in his second season. Parsons has four sacks, four tackles for loss, and seven quarterback hits in two games this season.
