The Crusaders were beaten by the Iona Gaels in their last matchup, 82-68. Holy Cross Jehyve Floyd had a good performance, recording nine points and 10 rebounds. Iona did an excellent job of making free throws (8-10; 80.0 percent). Holy Cross, on the other hand, forced the Gaels into a turnover percentage of 18.7 (above their season average of 14.4).

In the Saints last matchup, they were defeated by the Memphis Tigers, 70-66. Jordan Horn was the top scorer from either team with 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting.
