Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky Wildcats are one of the top contenders to win the NCAA title in 2016-2017. The Wildcats are simply loaded as they return Isaiah Briscoe and Derek Willis to go along with top newcomers Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox and Bam Adebayo.

The Wildcats have perhaps the best backcourt in the country with Monk and Fox. It could be that Kentucky chooses to go with a three-guard lineup and put Briscoe in as well.

The frontcourt for Kentucky is led by Willis and he is joined by top recruit Adebayo who was rated as the #9 prospect in the country. The Wildcats also have Wenyen Gabriel who could easily work his way into a starting spot and Kentucky has Sacha Killeya-Jones and Isaac Humphries.

The Wildcats do have to replace Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis but there is every reason to believe that this year’s Kentucky squad is going to be even better than last year’s group and a Final Four contender.

2016-2017 Kentucky Wildcats Betting

The Wildcats were just above the break even mark last season against the spread at 19-17. They were much better at home going 10-7 ATS than on the road where they went just 4-7. The Wildcats went under the total more often at home than they did on the road as they went over in 7 of their 11 road games.

Kentucky Wildcats Picks

The Wildcats have a ton of talent this season led by Fox who many people are comparing to John Wall. The Wildcats have so much talent and depth that they should roll to an SEC title and go into the NCAA Tournament as the favorite to win the title. In fact, anything less than a Final Four appearance would be a major disappointment and heading into the 2016-2017 season the Wildcats are the top choice to win it all.
