    Napoli-vs-Roma odds

Soccer Betting: With only 10 fixtures remaining in the Serie A campaign, points are of the essence for each and every club down the stretch.

Juventus looks to increase their 14-point lead over Roma, while Roma tries to salvage the year and tries to not give away their second place lead. Roma now finds themselves trying to keep four clubs behind them, with only 7 points separating them from being completely removed from European contention. Lazio has reeled off six straight wins to pull within one point of rival Roma for the two seed that comes with the Champions League Group Stage entry for next year.

After Napoli went on a mid-season run that had most outlets discussing the Naples club as the team that had the potential to surprise everyone, they are now barely hanging on to the Europa League qualifying position that comes with fifth place in the table.

Parma is still muddling through the year, well on their way to Serie B if not potentially headed to Lega Pro if the money situation does not get resolved sooner than later.

Let's discuss everyone's situation as we break down the matches that will take place in Round 29.

    Saturday, April 4 - 10Matches

Featured Match Napoli vs AS Roma

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Napoli +245

    Roma +120

    Draw +235

    Napoli +0.5 -140

    Roma -0.5 +120

    Total 2.5:

    Over +105

    Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

We knew as the match approached that it would end up being rather significant to both clubs, as they each try to hang on to the European spots in the table. Each club picked a horrible time to end up playing poorly, although Roma did manage to pick up their first win last time out against Cesena.

Napoli was one of the hottest clubs in all of Serie A until 4 matches ago, when they hit a wall and suddenly found themselves on the edge of being knocked out of European contention altogether. In fact, there is still the potential for both clubs to find themselves out of the battle for Europe, barring a complete collapse, and this match could be that beginning to the end for whomever comes out of here with a loss.

This match has a 0 - 0 result written all over it, although 1 - 1 could surely also be a result, although we are not one to recommend draws. So, with that said, the Under 2.5 will have to do here, expecting both clubs to come away with a point in a low-scoring draw type of match.

    Torino vs Atalanta

    3-Way: 1: Torino +175 Away ; X: +215 Draw ; 2: Atalanta +180 Home

    Spread: Torino Pk -110 ; Atalanta Pk -110 Total 2: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

This is one of those strange games that might seem hard to come up with a prediction. Atalanta simply has no idea what they are doing offensively, and Torino has recently reverted to the club they were at the beginning of the campaign, also struggling scoring lately.

After last weekend off, that might just reset these two to the same 0 - 0 result we saw in their first meeting of the campaign, so there is nothing else to say, but a suggestion on the Under 2 at +105.

    Lazio vs Cagliari

    3-Way: 1: Lazio -120 Away ; X: +270 Draw ; 2: Cagliari +335 Home

    Spread: Lazio -0.5 -120 ; Cagliari +0.5 +100

    Total 2.5: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

As we mentioned in the entry, Lazio is the hottest club in Serie A and they most likely didn't want to see the last weekend away from the pitch. The fact that Lazio has won their last three away matches scares the hell out of us, knowing that they always seem to find ways to lose away from Olimpico even against lesser clubs, and Cagliari certainly falls in to that 'lesser club' category.

We also need to keep in mind that Cagliari is as desperate as it gets, sitting in the final relegation spot that will send them to Serie B if they do not figure something out soon. Lazio completely dismantled the Sardinian side in the front half of the campaign, 4 - 2 in Rome, and of course when you break it down, Lazio should again find three points to potentially pass Roma for the two spot in the table.

We are actually going to suggest this Over 2.5 at -130, as Lazio can certainly hold their own defensively, but with the desperation Cagliari will be playing with, it should open the door for plenty of opportunities for the Romans to use their transition game to their advantage, especially late in the match.

    Udinese vs Genoa

    3-Way: 1: Udinese +300 Away ; X: +235 Draw ; 2: Genoa +105 Home

    Spread: Udinese +0.5 -125 ; Genoa -0.5 +105

    Total 2.5: Over +120 ; Under -140

    Analysis and Prediction:

Well, if Mattia Perin is not going to be in net for Genoa, who the hell is going to rescue this sorry defense from all the mistakes they make time and again? Udinese should be able to come out of Genoa with some type of result, so the only fair option would be that +0.5 at -125 on the away side, despite knowing that Udinese might be the scariest team away from home we have in Italy.

Let it be 2 - 2 if they must, it will still cash the ticket. We also might have to put a little something on the Over 2.5, since the price is +120 for the action.

    Parma vs Inter Milan

    3-Way: 1: Parma +1175 Away ; X: +555 Draw ; 2: Inter -425 Home

    Spread: Parma +1.5 +130 ; Inter -1.5 -150

    Total 3: Over +105 ; Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Inter Milan is supposedly trying to get in the Yaya Toure sweepstakes for next year, but the price might not be exactly what they want it to be. Until then, they have deal with Parma, who we all know will not be close to this league at the end of the year.

This will go down as a hunch play, because so much is expected from Inter to come away with a home result, and no one is giving Parma an ounce of respect, not that they have earned any. Wait until you hear the San Siro crowd losing their marbles when Parma scores first, which will then take three goals to stop us from cashing the +1.5 handicap on Parma here at +130.

Now let's hope that's how it works out, because that is a rather bold play. Although is it, really?

    AC Milan vs Palermo

    3-Way: 1: Milan +200 Away ; X: +225 Draw ; 2: Palermo +150 Home

Spread: Milan Pk +110 ; Palermo Pk -130

    Total 2.5: Over +115 ; Under -135

    Analysis and Prediction:

Well, we now know that AC Milan looks to be sold to a group of Chinese investors, which would mean that both Milan clubs would be under Asian ownership, after the Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir bought a 70 percent stake in Inter Milan back in November, 2013. That will most likely lead to the end of Inzaghi's managerial status come the end of the campaign, which we thought would come a lot sooner.

For now, Inzaghi is in control, and he can basically yell and act like he cares, but we know he has nothing to gain in hopes to impress the new owners to keep him on board.

Palermo is still one of the best home teams in Serie A with only two losses coming at Stadio Renzo Barbera on the campaign. Palermo has not scored a goal in their last four outings and until they snap out of it -- this is hard for us to say -- we have to take AC Milan on the Pk Draw no Bet action at +110.

Yes, we just said that, and hopefully we won't wake up in the morning regretting it.

    Chievo Verona vs Sassuolo

    3-Way: 1: Chievo +250 Away ; X: +220 Draw ; 2: Sassuolo +125 Home

    Spread: Chievo +0.5 -145 ; Sassuolo -0.5 +125

    Total 2: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Both clubs have been dwindling in the bottom half of the table most of the year, although Chievo has done a great job recently of finding results that now sees these two tied at 32 points. There really is nowhere to go at this point, with only 10 matches remaining on the year. Basically all that is left to do is hold their ground, stay in Serie A, and try to rebuild a new plan for next year to be a little more competitive.

Sassuolo has been going backwards for weeks, with only one win in their last 7 matches in league play, which includes losses in five of their last six outings. Alberto Paloschi has suddenly turned a new leaf for Chievo, although he did miss a PK opportunity last time out against Palermo that could have given them a 2 - 0 lead at the time. He has been stellar of late, being a lone bright spot on a club that has struggled most of the year.

We were surprised to see this total at 2, although the line setters do have the juice attached to the Over, and we agree that some goal scoring might be coming here.

The suggestion of this total to go Over makes our board this weekend, expecting at worst a 1 - 1 draw to get our money back if the push comes.

    Cesena vs Hellas Verona

    3-Way: 1: Cesena +320 Away ; X: +255 Draw ; 2: Verona -110 Home

    Spread: Cesena +0.5 -110 ; Verona -0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over +100 ; Under -120

    Analysis and Prediction:

Cesena only knows how to play football at home, and they have been absolutely dismal away from Stadio Manuzzi with Parma being right next to them in futility away from home this campaign.

If the line setters want to give away Verona at -110 to come out of this match with 3 points, then who are we to argue with them. That will certainly do in this spot, so the 3-Way action on the home side makes our suggestion box this weekend.

    Sampdoria vs Fiorentina

    3-Way: 1: Sampdoria +450 Away ; X: +260 Draw ; 2: Fiorentina -140 Home

    Spread: Sampdoria +0.5 +120 ; Fiorentina -0.5 -140

    Total 2.5: Over -105 ; Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

This could have potentially been our featured match of the weekend, considering that the two have had outstanding campaigns this year and are both battling for European spots for next year. They are only separated by two points in the table, although at the moment Fiorentina is on the outside looking in, with Napoli sandwiched between them and holding that last Europa League entry.

Sampdoria certainly has earned their spot in the table, coming off three straight clean sheets, and are worthy of some type of play here, although Fiorentina has been a great home team this year. This has a draw feel to it, expecting a 1 - 1 type of match, so the +0.5 on Sampdoria here makes our board this weekend at +120, with the value there.

    Empoli vs Juventus

    3-Way: 1: Empoli +775 Away ; X: +390 Draw ; 2: Juventus -265 Home

    Spread: Empoli +1 +145 ; Juventus -1 -170

    Total 2.5: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

It is not too often we see a -265 on the 3-Way line, and then see a -170 on the -1 handicap, so we are unsure what the line setters are trying to tell us here. We all know Juve is not losing to Empoli at home, and we expect the GiGi Buffon will be back in net for Juventus after all the flu and illness issues he has been dealing with.

There is no reason to just settle for the -1.5 here on the home side, as we see a much more reasonable +110 on the action. Empoli is certainly not going to be the club that gets in the way of Juventus on their way to their fourth straight Scudetto.
