Soccer Betting: The weekend in England gets startedon Saturdaywith Chelsea and Liverpool facing off after Champions League matches this week for each. That will be the early match as we have 6 overall matches to be played on the 8th. There are quite a bit of lopsided matches this weekend, with clubs at the top of the table playing clubs in the bottom half of the table.

Crystal Palace heads to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. Man City will take on QPR at Loftus Road, and Southampton will take on Leicester at St. Mary's.

Sundaywill see our featured match of the weekend, with Arsenal taking on Swansea City at Liberty Stadium. Arsenal is coming off a disappointing Champions League result, after being up 3 - 0 on Anderlecht at home, only to surrender 3 goals and draw. We have plenty to discuss on the English pitch, so let's get to it!

Bet on the Premier League at BetDSI

    Saturday, November 8- 6 Matches

    Chelsea vs Liverpool

    3-Way: 1: Chelsea +115 Away X: +245 Draw 2: Liverpool +250 Home

    Spread: Chelsea -0.5 +115 Liverpool +0.5 -135 Total 2.5: Over -115 Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea rebounds from the 1 - 1 draw to Mariboron Wednesdayin Champions League. They almost lost that match, but Maribor couldn't finish two golden opportunities to finish off Chelsea.

Liverpool is simply nothing to worry about. There is no one scoring and there is no one here to worry about, so I will gladly take Chelsea on the 3-Way at +115 knowing that Liverpool can't do a damn thing about it.

    Hull City vs Burnley

    3-Way: 1: Hull City +175 Away X: +225 Draw 2: Burnley +170 Home

Spread: Hull City Pk -105 Burnley Pk -115

    Total 2.5: Over +115 Under -135

    Analysis and Prediction:

Can we just send Burnley down to 2nd tier now? Maybe when they get there they will find a goalie who can actually stop something! I don't think any of us care where they play this match. Home or away, Burnley is too inept to stop anyone.

Hull City Pk at -105 and the Over 2.5 at +115 works for me.

    Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

    3-Way: 1: C. Palace +925 Away X: +455 Draw 2: Man U -325 Home

    Spread: C. Palace +1.5 -105 Man U -1.5 -115

    Total 3: Over -130 Under +110

Bet on the Premier League at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Two clubs that are going absolutely nowhere right now. The line setters have put Man U on a pedestal here, and I am not on it with them. As bad as Crystal Palace may be, I will still take the +1.5 at -105 on them because Man U is not all that the line setters are making them out to be.

    Leicester City vs Southampton

    3-Way: 1: Leicester +650 Away X: +345 Draw 2: S. Hampton -215 Home

    Spread: Leicester +1 +120 S. Hampton -1 -140

    Total 2.5: Over -145 Under +125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Southampton's numbers are a bit skewed by the 8-goal performance vs Sunderland. They are the Juventus of England in my opinion. To me that means that they seem to win so many games 1 - 0 despite having talent up front that should be doing better. I will take the Under 2.5 at a lovely +125 expecting another boring 1 - 0 type match.

Aston Villa vs West Ham United

    3-Way: 1: Aston VIlla +395 Away X: +260 Draw 2: West Ham -125 Home

    Spread: Aston VIlla +1 -155 West Ham -1 +135

    Total 2.5: Over -110 Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Aston Villa has lost 6 straight matches and finally scored a goal last weekend after 5 straight clean sheets against them. With only 5 goals on the campaign, it sure makes it tough to keep pace with the pack, but West Ham hasn't exactly been the most sound defensive club either.

I will take this Over 2.5 at -110 expecting both to score and, most likely, West Ham finding a second to win 2 - 1.

Manchester City vs Queens Park Rangers

    3-Way: 1: Man City -220 Away X: +360 Draw 2: QPR +625 Home

    Spread: Man City -1.5 +125 QPR +1.5 -145

    Total 3: Over -110 Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

QPR gives up 2 goals before the matches even start. Manchester will take out all their aggravation from their mid-week Champions League debacle on a club that has given up 20 goals already on the campaign. We all know Man City does not know much about defense either, so this Over 3 is making it on the board this weekend again.

    Sunday, November 9- 4 Matches

Featured Match Arsenal vs Swansea City

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Arsenal +120

    Swansea +245

    Draw +240

    Arsenal -0.5 +120 Swansea +0.5 -140

    Total 2.5:

    Over -115

    Under -105

Bet on the Premier League at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

I think we were all shocked to see a 3 - 0 lead in Champions League totally disappear to Anderlecht, especially when they were home. I don't know the last time Arsenal gave up a 3-goal lead at home, but it can't be too recently. So I looked it up to be sure, and it came in a 4 - 4 Draw with Newcastle in 2011.

Anyway, Swansea is coming off a scoreless draw with Everton last weekend, and they have historically held their own vs Arsenal the last few years. In the 8 meetings they have had since 2011, Swansea has two wins, two draws, and lost two 1-goal matches. Only once has Arsenal beat Swansea by 2, in a 2 - 0 in March of 2013. I wish we had a better line on the +1 or +1.5, but it simply isn't there to be had, yet the line setters dish out a -140 on the Swansea +0.5. Interesting, right?

I feel a 2 - 1 match is waiting to happen here, so I will go with the Over 2.5 at -115 hoping that is what we get.

    Stoke City vs Tottenham

    3-Way: 1: Stoke +475 Away X: +275 Draw 2: Tottenham -150 Home

    Spread: Stoke +1 -135 Tottenham -1 +115

    Total 2.5: Over -105 Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

This match is tough to predict. Tottenham has stunk at home and Stoke can't find any luck away from home. This is one of those matches I feel that if I go in one direction, the other can happen, so it almost makes me wish I could walk away from this match without a play of any sort. The lines stink too, as I will not pay -150 for Tottenham and I really do not feel comfortable playing the +1 at -135 on Stoke. I will play this Over 2.5 at -105, and if it is 1 - 1 I can say, "See I told you that whatever I would play here would be the opposite of what happened!"

    Newcastle United vs West Bromwich

    3-Way: 1: Newcastle +225 Away X: +245 Draw 2: West Brom +125 Home

Spread: Newcastle Pk +140 West Brom Pk -165

    Total 2.5: Over -110 Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

When you are playing well, ride the wave and hope it keeps going. Newcastle is playing their best football right now, and when I saw that +140 on their Pk Draw No Bet I almost fell down! What reason would there be to take us off such a value price with a club that is winning and looked pretty good vs Man City in the Cap Cup match too.

    Everton vs Sunderland

    3-Way: 1: Everton +100 Away X: +255 Draw 2: Sunderland +285 Home

    Spread: Everton -0.5 +100 Sunderland +0.5 -120

    Total 2.5: Over -105 Under -115

Bet on the Premier League at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

I am simply taking this Over 2.5 at -105. It is one thing when you score 8 goals like I mentioned in the Southampton write up, but it is another when you are the club that gave up those 8 goals. Granted again, that skews the season stats a ton, but I just can't let it go here. These two can score and a low-scoring draw-type match doesn't do anything for anyone. They both need points as there is a huge pack in the middle of this table separated by only 4 points from 7th to 16th. Show me some goal scoring here!
