Soccer Betting: With the fifth round of action taking place throughout the premiership, we have an early battle of the top two clubs as our featured match of the weekend. Crystal Palace and Manchester City enter the weekend holding the top two positions in the table, and despite the fact that we are early in the campaign, the two clubs have played the best football around the league thus far.

The match with Manchester United and Liverpool pits two clubs against each other who are looking to atone for their first loss of the campaign last time out, as each has a 2 - 1 - 1 record with seven points in the table. Five clubs still seek their first win of the campaign, which makes the Sunderland vs Tottenham match importanton Sunday, since they make up two of those five teams.

Six matcheson Saturday, twoon Sundayand a final matchon Mondaymake up the fifth round, so let's take it to the pitch, and see what we can expect around the Premier League this weekend.

    Saturday September 12- 6 Matches

Featured Match Crystal Palace vs Manchester City

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    C. Palace +500

    Man City -170

    Draw +310

    C. Palace +1 -125

    Man City -1 +105

    Total 3:

    Over +105

    Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

It may be early in the campaign, but we have our first matchup of the year pitting the top two clubs in the table against each other when these two meet at Selhurst Park.

Manchester City has yet to allow a goal through four rounds of action, and it has propelled them to being the only club to have a perfect 4 - 0 record in the league.

Vincent Kompany is a major reason why the defense has been perfect through four weekends. We saw them ease by Watford last time out while not allowing a single shot on frame in the 2 - 0 win over the freshly promoted club to top flight.

We can imagine the fans at Selhurst Park are aware that they come into the match as rather big underdogs, despite having won the final meeting of last year's campaign at home. The win for the Eagles snapped a seven-game losing streak to Man City in all competitions that dated back to the 2002 Champions Division campaign they were both a part of at the time.

It is pretty tough to leave a home team +1 handicap sitting there waiting to be touched, so we will certainly hope that Crystal Palace is not intimidated by Manchester City. The line of -125 is not that out of range to expect a one-goal game at the very worst here, which would simply push our action.

    Everton vs Chelsea

    3-Way: 1: Everton +305 Home ; X: +255 Draw ; 2: Chelsea -105 Away

    Spread: Everton +0.5 -115 ; Chelsea -0.5 -105

    Total 2.5: Over +100 ; Under -120

    Analysis and Prediction:

Chelsea and Jose Mourinho have a lot of work to do, but luckily they had two weeks to prepare for an Everton club who hasn't scored a goal since the second round of the campaign.

We can imagine that the -105 3-Way line towards Chelsea is going to get a fair share of action from the common bettor out there who will play Chelsea without even looking into the match, but if it was that easy, everyone would be handicapping football in England for a living.

This should again be a low-scoring match, with Everton keeper Tim Howard being the difference, so we will offer the +0.5 handicap on Everton at -115, and expect a low-scoring, draw-type of match to take place.

    Arsenal vs Stoke City

    3-Way: 1: Arsenal -330 Home ; X: +455 Draw ; 2: Stoke +1000 Away

    Spread: Arsenal -1.5 -115 ; Stoke +1.5 -105

    Total 3: Over +110 ; Under -130

    Analysis and Prediction:

Arsenal is still dealing with a good bit of injuries and absences, and they might not have their full complement of players until the halfway point of the campaign.

Welbeck is out. Rosicky is out. Wilshire is out. And that is not even the entire list that we see on the EPL injury report.

Even though Arsenal lost their opening match of the campaign, they have earned seven points in the last three outings since, while holding Liverpool and Newcastle to a clean sheet in their last two outings.

Stoke City has played four tight games so far, despite being one of those five clubs we mentioned who have yet to find their way to the win column this campaign.

If the line setters want to give Arsenal that much respect, than they can do that, but we completely disagree with them.

The +1.5 handicap line on Stoke City will make our board this weekend at a simple -105 on the action, expecting yet another tight game here.

    Norwich City vs Bournemouth

    3-Way: 1: Norwich +130 Home ; X: +245 Draw ; 2: Bournemouth +215 Away

Spread: Norwich Pk -150 ; Bournemouth Pk +130

    Total 2.5: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Two newly promoted clubs face off for the first time this year, and this is another head scratcher of a line on the total.

Has anyone seen the Norwich defense trying to clog the middle and protect the box, because from we can see, they are simply not up to the caliber that will keep them in this league longer than this one season if they don't make some adjustments and soon.

But we can hope it takes a bit longer than a two-week break so let's just throw in this Over 2.5 at -115, expecting both teams to score in the first half and envisioning only one goal needed in the second half to cash the ticket.

    Watford vs Swansea City

    3-Way: 1: Watford +170 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Swansea +170 Away

Spread: Watford Pk -110 ; Swansea Pk -110

    Total 2.5: Over +115 ; Under -135

    Analysis and Prediction:

This will be the first time these two clubs have ever met in top flight Premier League, as the two have not seen each other since the 2010-11 campaign in the Championship Division.

The best thing about this match is if it were at Liberty Stadium, Swansea would be obnoxiously favored over Watford, but because the match is at Vicarage Road, the line setters think Watford has a chance here.

We are putting the Swansea Pk at -110 on the board here as our way of saying no they don’t.

Watford needs to prove that they can score at this level before we start investing in them, whether they are home or not, so the Draw no Bet action on the away side makes the board for this match.

    West Brom vs Southampton

    3-Way: 1: West Brom +205 Home ; X: +220 Draw ; 2: Southampton +150 Away

Spread: West Brom Pk +115 ; Southampton Pk -135

    Total 2: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

West Brom and Southampton are each going to struggle finding the net this weekend, and the only reason Southampton put up three goals in their last outing against Norwich was because Norwich played the last hour of the match down a man.

Southampton would have likely drawn 0 - 0 with Norwich if Whittaker hadn't been sent off the pitch with a red card just a half hour into the match. There is no way they would have won 3 - 0 as they did, because you can only defend with 10 men so long before they finally break through.

West Brom also picked up their first win of the campaign last weekend, as they went in to Brittania Stadium last weekend and came out with a 1 - 0 away win against Stoke City.

The home team gets the nod here, as we suggest the West Brom Pk Draw no Bet handicap line at +115.

    Manchester United vs Liverpool

    3-Way: 1: Man U -110 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Liverpool +345 Away

    Spread: Man U -0.5 -110 ; Liverpool +0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over +110 ; Under -130

    Analysis and Prediction:

Liverpool can't score, and Manchester United is certainly not going to make it any easier. Keep Coutinho off the board and anyone can beat Liverpool with the weak offense they have shown to us so far.

The -110 line on Man U almost seems like that gift box you're afraid to open because the glass would break if you make a mistake.

We won't make that mistake, and we are going to offer this Draw at +240 because we simply don't expect either club to score, and if they do, it will be 1 - 1 which will lead to a cashed ticket with a decent price attached to it.

    Sunday September 13- 2 Matches

    Sunderland vs Tottenham

    3-Way: 1: Sunderland +310 Home ; X: +265 Draw ; 2: Tottenham -110 Away

    Spread: Sunderland +0.5 -110 ; Tottenham -0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over -105 ; Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Two of the five remaining clubs to have not won this campaign face off at the Stadium of Light, and we wonder how long the fans will remain in their seats this weekend, when Tottenham walks in here and scores an early goal.

The line setters see Tottenham coming away with three points, and it is hard to disagree with them, since almost no one thought Tottenham would be winless through the first month of the campaign.

The Hot Spur 3-Way -110 line makes the board this weekend, and, yes, getting your first win of the year away from home is not easy, unless of course you are playing Sunderland.

    Leicester City vs Aston Villa

    3-Way: 1: Leicester -120 Home ; X: +260 Draw ; 2: Villa +350 Away

    Spread: Leicester -0.5 -120 ; Villa +0.5 +100

    Total 2.5: Over -110 ; Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Leicester City is one of the three clubs in the Premiership without a loss in the early going, and we do not see that changing this weekend with Aston Villa visiting King Power Stadium.

Let's just say that Aston Villa couldn't get by Sunderland at home last weekend, and now they think they can beat Leicester on the road? Not in the cards that we are using, so the Leicester 3-Way line of -120 has got to be the best bet we can find in this match.

Bet on the English Premier League at BetDSI

    Monday September 14- 1 Match

    West Ham vs Newcastle

    3-Way: 1: West Ham +130 Home ; X: +245 Draw ; 2: Newcastle +235 Away

Spread: West Ham Pk -165 ; Newcastle Pk +140

    Total 2.5: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Newcastle hasn't scored a goal since opening weekend, going three consecutive games without finding the net.

West Ham managed to get by Chelsea and Liverpool this year so far, but were unable to get any type of result against Bournemouth and Leicester, which is extremely strange to figure out.

Newcastle is among that group of five clubs we mentioned without a win on the young campaign, and going in to Boleyn Ground will likely not be the place that they pick up that first win of the campaign.

The West Ham 3-Way line at +130 has plenty of value behind it, and it is our last recommendation of the round.
