MLS Soccer Betting: Los Angeles vs NYCFC
Saturday, August 22nd, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: The Los Angeles Galaxy and NYCFC meet for the only time this year, with tons of international flavor spread throughout the field. It's not just about the recent influx of European and South American players who have recently come to MLS, because these two clubs have had international presence before the summer window that brought even more talent from around the globe.
The Galaxy are riding a five-game win streak which includes three MLS outings and two CONCACAF Champions League matches, and the theme lately for the defending champions of MLS is all about scoring goals.
Over this five-game period, the Galaxy has scored 18 goals, and Robbie Keane has led the way by scoring six of those goals and doing everything he can take home yet another MLS MVP Trophy for his collection of career achievements.
Now with the aid of Steven Gerrard, Gyasi Zardes, Alan Gordon, and the newly acquired Giovani dos Santos, among others, this Galaxy squad is hungry to prove that all their recent success was not just about Landon Donovan.
In search of their league-leading sixth MLS title this season, the Galaxy has gradually found their way to the top of the Western Conference standings, one point clear of Vancouver and only one point being DC United for the Supporters Shield, which, of course, brings home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
NYCFC has taken four points in their last two outings, with a big comeback win over DC United 10 days ago, and a 2 - 2 draw with Columbus this pastWednesday. The comeback win over United was impressive, as the expansion side found themselves down 1 - 0 at halftime and proceeded to find the net three times by three different players in the second half.
New York might see the 2 - 2 draw in Columbus as a bit of a disappointment after having a 2 - 1 lead late in the second half, but taking points from Columbus at MAPFRE Stadium is something a lot of teams have not been able to do this year.
NYCFC will again be facing Columbus next weekend at Yankee Stadium, but will have two weeks off to prepare for the stretch run of the season. They will only have seven games remaining in the regular season to climb into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.
As it sits entering this weekend, NYC is tied with Orlando City and Montreal with 28 points and tied for the sixth position which is officially held by Montreal. Montreal also has four games in hand against NYC, as the Canadian side has only played 21 games to NYC's 25.

Total O/U 3:
Quick Analysis & Prediction
Well, the line setters did not take long to adjust their offers, and maybe we are to blame because we laughed at them so hard and called them drunk drivers, among other things, as we cashedour Over tickets time and again recently.
Now the trick is to figure out where to find the action, because the two offers we would like to suggest are -140 and -150, and that is simply unacceptable around here.
We are going to have to suggest a line movement on this total, because three goals at -140 is something we cannot put on the board.
Move that line to the 3.5 to go Over the total, and you should see a +115 for your efforts, because these two might have those goals within an hour of time, and who knows how many goals we might see when the final whistle blows.
