MLS Soccer Betting: Los Angeles vs Dallas
Saturday, September 26th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: With the Los Angeles Galaxy and FC Dallas tied with 47 points in the Western Conference standings, the outcome at StubHub Center could help shape the final month of the regular season. With a Conference title and a potential Supporters Shield in sight for each team, every point available is getting more crucial as there are fewer games down the stretch.
After it seemed that no one was going to be able to slow down the defending champs, the Galaxy have suddenly failed miserably at finding the net, being held scoreless in three straight MLS outings. Los Angeles has not scored since the 81st minute of the 5 - 1 win over NYCFC at home onAugust 23.
That game marked the fourth time in a month that the Galaxy had tallied at least 5 goals in a game, but the tides have turned and the offense has been turned completely off. Even more amazing is that there is no excuse for the Galaxies recent struggles, other than running in to the wrong teams at the wrong time, as they have not had significant absences or injuries to account for any reasoning behind the sudden fall out.
This is the rubber game of the three game regular season series between these two teams. The first two outings were held in Dallas, and Dallas took game one 2 - 1 onMay 9that Toyota Stadium, while Los Angeles returned the favor with a 2 - 1 win onAugust 15.
Dallas does have one advantage entering the weekend, and that is due to having two games in hand on the Galaxy, with six remaining games to the Galaxies four.
Dallas had their three-game win streak snapped last weekend against Kansas City, after a 3 - 1 loss at Sporting Park that could have leap-frogged the Texas side to first place, since Los Angeles and Vancouver both lost their outings last weekend as well.
Sporting's Benny Falhaber scored twice in the defeat for Dallas, and although Dallas pulled the affair to 2 - 1 in the 80th minute, Dom Dwyer ended any chance of a comeback with an 83rd minute goal to seal the deal for Kansas City.
Dallas has five players listed as questionable this weekend,as Kellyn Acosta,Mauro Diaz, Dan Kennedy,Bakary Soumare, and Stephen Keel all appear on the MLS injury report.
Jose Villarreal, Baggio Husidic and Todd Dunivant will also be game-time decisions for Bruce Arena's side.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
It is hard to hit the nail on the head when trying to figure out how this Galaxy offense has been shut down in three straight games in league play, since it appeared that no one had the formula to figure out how to slow the defending champs down.
The Galaxy have scored at least one goal in the last seven meetings with Dallas, and have scored no less than two goals in their last four home games against them as well.
We cannot recall seeing a line of -170 on a total in the last few years, and if ever the line setters were tipping their hand about what they expect to happen, it doesn't get more obvious than that.
Obviously, we have zero interest in such offers above -135 here BetDSI, and that is where line movements come in handy.
Since we would need the three goals to cash that Over 2.5 ticket, we can actually take notice of the Over 3 at -110, and have minimal juice on the action.
So that is where we will take this prediction, and if 2 - 1 is the best these two can do, we will settle for our push, and live to see another bet.
The Over 3 at -110 goes in the books on the final game of the weekend at StubHub Center, with the sleeping giant that is the LA offense getting back on track at home.
