MLS Odds: Dallas and Colorado faceoff for the second time in two weeks when they meet at Dick's Sporting Goods Park onFriday, April 24. Dallas took an old-fashioned beat down in the first meeting in Dallas on April 10, in a resounding 4 - 0 loss to the Rapids. Colorado came into the match without having scored a single goal up to that point.

So now we can talk about each team's momentum, because Dallas got off to a hot start going 3 - 0, but has struggled since, although they did rebound with a 3 - 2 win of their own last weekend. Dallas got off to a sweet start of the game they hosted against Toronto last Saturday, with Fabian Castillo scoring in the first minute of the game, and again in the 10th minute to break the game open early.

They rallied once again just before the half-hour mark, and took a 3 - 0 lead going into the half. Toronto pulled within a goal just as regulation time was coming to an end, when Sabastian Giovinco scored twice only six minutes apart. However, the Toros held on in the end with 3 points and a home win.

Since Colorado broke out for four goals two weeks ago against this Dallas team, they carried a loss at home last weekend that came at the boots of the Seattle Sounders.

Clint Dempsey made his immediate impact upon returning from injury and assisted Neagle's first of two goals for Seattle, although did come off at the 70 minute mark in a 2 - 1 game at the time.

Obafemi Martins essentially ended the game with his tally just three minutes after Dempsey departed. Colorado really didn't look good in the second half, and only managed two shots on goal, down only a goal to get back in the game. It never happened and became a 3 - 1 loss at home to Seattle who controlled the game as a whole, on paper and on the scoreboard.

Dallas swept the 2014 season series from Colorado, with two home wins and a win here in Denver, and obviously the Rapids have a leg up so far in their first meeting two weeks ago.

These two will meet again right here at Dick's Sporting Goods Park onJune 19to decide the series and wrap up their three-game set in the Western Conference.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

Out of the gate, it was of the assumption that both clubs were very defensively sound, as Dallas came out 3 - 0 – 1, outscoring their opponents 6 - 0 in the first four games of the season.Since then, they've been outscored 9 - 4 in two losses and a win the last time out, so it looks like Dallas is just ebbing and flowing in to the regular season.

Colorado has not been held scoreless due to a lack of opportunity, as we have mentioned before. They surely struggled putting balls on fame, but the shots were there, and it did take some serious goalkeeping on the other side of those three scoreless draws to start the year.

Colorado is trying to get out of the Western Conference basement, and Dallas is of course looking to keep pace with Vancouver, who are three points above them in first place.

We called for the coming out party in Dallas for Colorado, and right now, these two defenses have not exactly looked in sync lately.

Remember, the five goals for and against for Colorado came in the last three games, and are not simply a product of average results for the season, but just the last three outings.

We are in the 7th, 8th, and even 9th games played in some cases around the league, and this portion of the season is the toughest of all to read, because, in some cases, guys are more banged up than they reveal, lineups are scattered as per results and need for a good chunk of teams.

So for now, with these two clubs expected to put a good amount of balls on net, and the history of the two teams' recent results, we expect some goal scoring here.

With five of the last six Overs coming in, and easily in most cases, it’s a good reason to suggest some action on the total here. If $10 is all the juice they ask for towards a play on this Over 2.5, than we can be nice enough to pay the toll, raise the gate, and cash a ticket on a hopeful 2 - 1 type of match that takes home the money.
