    Seattle-vs-Vancouver odds

MLS Odds:Seattle kept pace with the LA Galaxy and remain tied at the top of the Western Conference standings at 60 points apiece. High-scoring affairs follow the Sounders wherever they go, with no less than 4 goals in any of their last 6 matches.

Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins continued their scoring ways, with 3 between them on the road vs Colorado the last time out. Now they return home to also learn that that playoff tickets are going on saleOctober 21for the November 10home game they are guaranteed to host, knowing the 1st or 2nd spot in the West has already been clinched.

The first place battle will begin next week, when LA and Seattle play at one another's house to end the season. They’ll play two heads up matches and maybe even another battle in the playoffs for the right to represent the West in the finals.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

With all the talk of Seattle and LA battling for the top spot, do not overlook that Vancouver is also in a playoff battle with Portland for the 5th and final spot in the West. They are only a point apart, so there is just as much pressure on them to come up with a big result for the Whitecaps, who are 1W - 0L - 1D vs Seattle this year. They have the ingredients, now can they stir the drink?

We know Seattle will push and push and bring heat for 90', but Vancouver is also no stranger to finding the net lately either, pushing 2 across vs Real SL and Dallas in their last 2 matches. Problem is, 9 straight road games without a win and only 2 road wins all season is not a good way to stay in the race.

GOOOOAL!! Or should I say goals. Sorry, I had an Andres Cantor moment! This 3 is lovely on the total, because this is certainly a 3 goal game waiting to happen as far as I see it. With a home and home with LA to finish the season, Seattle has to want these 3 points and will not settle for some type of low-scoring draw type of match. So I expect balls to see the back of the net. Grab the Over 3 at a decent price with, most likely, minimal juice.
