MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Sporting KC vs Dallas
Thursday, September 17th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: Sporting Kansas City and Dallas meet for the fourth time this year, while the two wrap up their three game regular season series, to go along with their U.S Open Cup affair that took place on July 1.
The two teams are going in opposite directions as we wind down the regular season. Sporting tries to shake off a run of five games without a win, and Dallas looks to improve on their current three-game win streak chasing Los Angeles for the best record in all of MLS.
Through this horrible stretch of results for Kansas City they have been outscored 12 - 4 over these last five outings, and have only managed to grab a point from their 0 - 0 draw with Portland in the first game of September.
Injuries have been partly to blame for Kansas City's recent failures, but as a whole there really is not much of an excuse that they will put out there for this recent run of poor results, other than their defense is not playing together at all.
In Sporting's 3 - 1 loss to Orlando City this past weekend, they found themselves down 1 - 0 before the fans at the Citrus Bowl even took their seats, as midfielder Adrian Winter scored just three minutes into the game. Kansas City eventually drew the game level at one just before the hour mark, but the defense once again fell apart and allowed two goals, with Winter scoring his second goal to make it 3 - 1.
To add insult to injury, Dom Dwyer was sent off the field as regulation time was coming to a close, but he will be participating in this match with Dallas after the Red Card was rescinded by the Independent Review Panel on Tuesday. Dwyer lit up this defense for four goals in the U.S Open Cup's 6 - 2 drubbing at Sporting Park in July.
Sporting KC retains one unsuccessful appeal for any send-off review during the remainder of the 2015 season and / or postseason.
The Independent Review Panel consists of one representative from the U.S. Soccer Federation, Canadian Soccer Association and Professional Referees Organization
Dallas is second overall in both the Western Conference and all of MLS with 47 points, as the Los Angeles Galaxy holds a one-point lead on the Texas outfit in the conference, and DC United sits with 46 points behind them on top of the East.
Riding a three-game winning streak, Dallas has taken out Real Salt Lake, Columbus and NYCFC, outscoring the three teams 7 - 1, with the only goal against coming in the 2 - 1 victory over New York last weekend.

Quick Analysis & Prediction Quick Analysis:
Kansas City keeper Jon Kempin will be making his second consecutive start between the posts, and only his second start of the 2015 season with the team. He has officially been with the team for six seasons, but has spent the majority of that time on loan to the NASL and USL clubs as he develops.
The decision by the disciplinary committee to allow Dwyer to play this weekend didn't really come as a surprise, and most knew that an appeal was coming towards the referee's decision to toss Dwyer out of last weekend's game.
With so much on the line, and Kansas City desperately needing a result of any type at the moment, we envision both of these clubs coming out firing shot after shot on net, and no less than a 2 - 1 result when the match is over.
That obviously points is to the total, and the Over 2.5 at a reasonable -115 makes out suggestion box this weekend as all three meetings the two have had this year have gone over the total.
