MLS Odds: Orlando City makes their inaugural appearance at Rio Tinto Stadium to face Real Salt Lake, but expansion sides have not fared well in their first trip to Utah over the years. Real Salt Lake has hosted 10 MLS games with an expansion side making their Utah debut, and boast an impressive 8 - 1 - 1 record in their history. Both clubs had impressive U.S Open Cup outings this past week, with RSL getting by the Portland Timbers at home with a 2 - 0 win, while Orlando City also captured a 2 - 0 win at home against Columbus at the Citrus Bowl.

Real Salt Lake will face the LA Galaxy in the quarterfinals of the Cup, while Orlando City will be facing the Chicago Fire, leaving the likelihood that these two could, in fact, face off again in the Open Cup Finals in late September.

This will be the sixth game for Real Salt Lake in the last 19 days, although they have not had to travel much at all, while playing six of their last seven games at home, including U.S Open Cup action.

Four of the five games Salt Lake played in June were at home, and they will play four of their five games scheduled in July at home as well, which started with the U.S Open Cup win on July 1. They will make a stop in Colorado next weekend, and return home for two games against Houston and Sporting KC.

RSL's Kyle Beckerman has already joined the U.S team, as they will have a friendly with Guatemalaon Friday, in preparation for the Gold Cup. Jordan Allen will also be out of the lineup after picking up a red card in last weekend's match with Columbus. The match with Columbus was a back-and-forth affair, which ended in a 2 - 2 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium. Salt Lake got on the board in the 36th minute after a goal from Olmes Garcia, and the Crew quickly equalized just six minutes later to send the game to the half tied at one.

Sebastian Jaime again gave RSL the lead just two minutes into the second half, but the Crew's Ethan Finlay again leveled the game just after the hour mark.

Orlando City's last game, as we mentioned, also was against the Columbus Crew in the U.S Open Cup, as the Lions advanced to the quarters, while continuing to impress in their first year in top flight MLS.

Orlando City has one loss in their last 10 outings in all competitions, which was at the hands of the Montreal Impact on June 20, in a 2 - 0 loss at Stade Saputo. They will return home for three games upon leaving Utah, with two MLS matches and a friendly with English Premier League's West Brom sandwiched in between.

The Lions currently sit tied with Toronto and the New York Red Bulls with 23 points in the Eastern Conference, only a point behind the struggling Revolution who hold the second place position in the table.

Kaka's influence for Orlando City this year has elevated everyone's game around him, while he has added eight of his own goals this season, tied for third in all of MLS with Fanendo Adi and Sebastian Giovinco in scoring.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

Javier Morales returns to MLS action for Salt Lake this weekend, after sitting out the Columbus outing after receiving a red card in the NY Red Bulls match the week before. That did not stop him from having a heavy influence on the U.S Open Cup affair, adding a penalty kick goal to the 2 - 0 win over Portland.

With Orlando City likely to control the possession battle as they have done all season, this will not be another one of those easy victories against an expansion club, that we have seen RSL manage over the years, as mentioned.

We see this +105 on the Over 2.5 as an absolute gift from the line setters, not having a clue as to why they have put the juice towards the Under.

We see this as a 2 - 2 affair at the very worst, and cashing this ticket on the total should be a foregone conclusion when it is all said and done.

Expect the goals to come and enjoy cashing a +105 ticket on this Over 2.5.
