MLS Odds: The NY Red Bulls look to secure first place in the Eastern Conference when they take on the Chicago Fireon Fridaynight at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls took matters into their own hands two weekends ago, taking out first place DC United 3 - 0 at home. Lloyd Sam got the scoring started just after the half hour mark, and Bradley Wright-Phillips added two goals in the home win that pulled the Red Bulls to within two points of first place in the East.
New York completely dominated United in every stat we can mention, including eight shots to two on frame, taking the possession battle 57 – 43 and putting up 24 overall shots in the game.Checking out the schedule ahead for the Bulls, this match will start a four-game stretch in 15 days. After a visit to Gillette Stadiumnext Wednesday, they will make the cross-country trip to Providence Park to take on the Timbersnext Sunday, and return home to face Orlando City onSeptember 25.
Neither team has any injuries or suspensions to speak of other than the long term absences of New York's Chris Duvall and Chicago's Adailton, with each expected to miss the rest of the regular season and possibly even the playoffs.
Chicago's road woes continued last weekend, as they have yet to win an away game this entire season, after losing 4 - 3 to the Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo. The loss to Montreal last weekend extended the Fire's winless streak away from home to 23 games in all competitions dating back toJuly 12 of last season when they defeated New England 1 - 0 at Gillette Stadium.
Didier Drogba tallied his first MLS hat trick for the Montreal win, although the Fire did have a 3 - 2 lead at the hour mark of the match. Within two minutes of the Fire taking the lead, Drogba scored his second and third goal in the 61st and 65 minutes.
Despite the loss, and the fact that the Fire are in the Eastern Conference cellar, they are still only four points out the final playoff position in the conference with 27 points.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
The line setters know what we know, and the total coming out at a straight three is nothing new when we come down the stretch of the season.
If you recall last season, we offered more totals to go Over the number on plenty of occasions knowing that defense in the MLS can be hysterical at times.
New York should be able to ease by the Fire, a club that simply cannot win when they leave Toyota Park.
With a 3 - 1 prediction, and the expectation of a big home win for the Red Bulls, the Over 3 at -105 makes the big board here at BetDSI.
Chicago will not be able to slow down the Red Bulls offense, and should be able to muster up at least a goal in the expected loss. However, even if we do see a 2 - 1 result, there is nothing to cry about because we will push the action, and live to bet another day.
The total to go Over 3 is the offer for the match at Red Bull Arenaon Fridaynight.
