MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Montreal vs Vancouver
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: Montreal and Vancouver will become very familiar with each other in August, when the Canadian Championships take place and the two teams face off to decide who is the best club in Canada. However, before we get there, we have one MLS meeting for the two in 2015. Montreal plays host to Vancouver for only the second time in MLS action, and when the two met here the first time in 2013, Vancouver shut them out 3 - 0 in a big road win at the time.
The match was in late September, and it almost cost Montreal a playoff berth, as they barely survived to hold on to fifth place. The Impact comes off a tough loss this past weekend, as the Chicago Fire handed them a 3 - 0 defeat, and Marco Donadel was sent off with a red card in the 37th minute. Harry Shipp gave Chicago an early 1 - 0 lead in the 13th minute and, while playing with 10 men, the Impact gave up a second goal in the first minute of added time in the first half.
KennedyIgboananike added a third goal in the 72nd minute for Chicago, and they are now tied at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with NYCFC.
The Whitecaps have the exact same road and home record with three wins, two losses and one draw, getting there with the aid of theirstingy defense. They have allowed just two goals in six games played away from B.C. Place, including four clean sheets for David Ousted.
Losers of two of their last three MLS outings, the Whitecaps are now three points behind Seattle in the Western Conference table. They are, however, coming off their 2 - 1 win over Real Salt Lake this past weekend, while amassing an astounding 20 shots towards net. Eight of them made it on frame, and two of them found the back of the net.
Vancouver is starting a stretch of the season where they will be playing every game in June on the road, which will carry into July. Six of their next seven games will be away from home, including the next five in a row.
Last 3 MLS Meetings:
There has only been three all-time MLS meetings between the two teams, although they have plenty of First Division and Canadian Championship matches played.
Vancouver has 2 Wins and a Draw in the three MLS meetings however.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
We do not see these two going through much of a feel out process, nor do we see them trying to leave any mystery for what we will see when they meet in August, for the Canadian Championships.
Vancouver has certainly relied on their defense, and that will undoubtedly give them an edge against the Impact, who has not exactly been involved with many low-scoring games recently. They will also be without the services of Marco Donadel after being sent off this past weekend, taking a good bit of experience off the field.
The prediction for this one comes in the form of a play on the away side. The Pk Draw no Bet price of +100 seems fair enough to us to suggest, with the defensive minded Vancouver Whitecaps likely to come away with some type of result.
With an even money price on the action, that could surely see the Caps come out of Stade Saputo with three points. The play sets our mind at ease, knowing a draw would not be the worst thing to happen. We are not ones to shy away from getting our money back if it comes down to it.
