MLS Odds: The Seattle Sounders make their final trip of the 2015 season to the eastern side of North America, as they take on the Montreal Impact at Stade Saputo this weekend. The Sounders will go no further east than Kansas for the remainder of the MLS season, with only 13 games left to play on their schedule this year.

In the continuing trend of losses for Seattle since the U.S Open Cup disaster, the Sounders have dealt with defeat in five of their last six games and were outscored 9 - 2 over that span. The team will still be without Clint Dempsey, Obafemi Martins and Brad Evans this weekend, which has put the Sounders in fifth place in the Western Conference standings with 32 points.

The Sounders are still only three points out of first place, which is currently held by Dallas with 35 points, but the return of all three of their big names is not too far away. With the Gold Cup coming to an end this weekend, even though the U.S Team is playing for third place and not the trophy, Dempsey and Evans will make their return to the team, while Martins is close to fully recovering from the groin injury that forced him to be carted off the field in the U.S Open Cup loss to Portland onJune 16.

Montreal is playing their third home game of the four MLS matches scheduled in July, and after one game next weekend at Yankee Stadium, the Impact will return home again for four more consecutive games, which includes the first leg of their Canadian Championship battle with Vancouver.

The Impact still has a few games on the rest of the Eastern Conference, and are still only three points out of the playoff picture trailing Orlando City who has 24 points in the table.

Montreal continued their road struggles last weekend, as they havedealt with for the last two seasons in league play. The 2 - 1 loss at Sporting Park to Kansas City now leaves the Impact with a 1 - 18 - 7 record in the last 26 away games.

Sporting KC took an early 1 - 0 in the 4th minute of action from a Benny Flahaber goal, and added a second tally in the 34th minute from Dom Dwyer to take a 2 - 0 lead to the half. Montreal scored to make it 2 - 1 just before the hour mark, but were unable to level the game in the end. The Impact won the possession battle by a 62/38 margin, but only managed one shot on goal in each half of action.

The Impact has done most of their damage at home in league play, earning 16 of their 21 points in 2015 at Stade Saputo. SinceMay 16, the Impact are 5 - 1 at home, and have outscored their opponents 14 - 5 over that span, coming off a 3 - 0 victory over Columbus the last time they played in front of their fans.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

Of the three meetings the two had in MLS action, Montreal took the first two results in 2012 and 2013, and Seattle took last year's contest here at Stade Saputo early in the 2014 season.

Seattle obviously is entering the match without their full complement of players, although we are hearing that Stefan Frei is close to returning to the net and may be ready this weekend to start, although he will be a game-time decision according to Sigi Schmid.

We are not about to deter from the success we have had fading the Sounders without their two big forwards filling up the score sheet and, until Dempsey and Martins are both on the field together again, that will not change our thinking any time soon.

Montreal and the 3-Way line at home comes in at -110, and that will be where we turn for our suggestion in this match at Stade Saputoon Saturday.

The Impact play extremely well at home, and will hope to add to the 5 - 1 home record they have, while continuing to keep pace in the Eastern Conference standings.
