MLS Odds: The New York Red Bulls make their first and only visit to Stade Saputo in the 2015 regular season, looking to improve on their second place status in the Eastern Conference standings. New York has won five of their last six league games, and are looking for their third straight road win, after coming off an impressive 3 - 1 win over the Union last weekend at PPL Park.

The Montreal Impact have climbed into playoff contention and find themselves tied with Orlando City for the final post-season position in the East. They are the only club in the league to have not played at least 20 games thus far. In the two meetings a year ago, two high-scoring affairs saw the Red Bulls come away with a 4 - 2 home win, and a 2 - 2 draw here at Stade Saputo.

Montreal is looking for their second straight win over a New York side, as the Impact came up with a big 3 - 2 victory at Yankee Stadium this past weekend. The Impact came out early as the aggressor, scoring in the 5th minute of the game to take a 1 - 0 lead on the strength of a Dominic Oduro goal. Montreal extended the lead to 2 - 0 just after the half-hour mark, and held that lead until the 68th minute. David Villa converted a PK opportunity to make it 2 - 1, but the Impact were also given a late penalty kick opportunity, which Ignacio Piatti put home to seal the win.

New York did pull the game within a goal with a McNamara goal in the 85th minute, but were unable to find the equalizer, giving the Impact a win on NYCFC's home turf.

The Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch was the first manager for the Impact when they came in to MLS in 2012, but only spent one season with the team after a 12 - 16 - 6 season.

There are now two players on the NY roster with the last name of Wright-Phillips, as Bradley's brother Shaun joined the team last weekend and had an immediate impact in his first game. In a scoreless game through the first hour, Shaun Wright-Phillips was tackled in the box and earned the Red Bulls a penalty kick, which was converted by Sacha Kljestan.

With a 1 - 0 lead, Shaun and Bradley connected for the Red Bulls second goal to make it 2 - 1 in the 74th minute, which came just one minute after Montreal leveled the game at one.

With Montreal pressing to find the tying goal late in the game, Anatole Abang scored to make it 3 - 1 in the fourth minute of extra time, and that was all she wrote.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

Obviously, the line setters have seen enough Montreal totals come in to move this over 2.5 line to an obnoxious -150, which is completely unacceptable as a suggested play.

That will not stop us, however, from making a suggestion on this total, because we have the ability to move the line to a straight 3 and get +110 for our troubles.

These two as we mentioned, scored 10 goals in two meetings a year ago and that will lead us to that exact prediction.

The line movement to the Over 3 at +110 comes in as our suggestion in this mid-week affair at Stade Saputo. Both clubs are more than proficient at finding the net, and we expect them both to do just that.

The line setters also agree, slapping a -170 on the both teams to score prop bet, and we could not agree more that they will both score, and three goals should come rather easily.

Move the line to the Over 3, and if we have to settle for a 2 - 1 push, there is no harm in that at all.
