MLS Odds: Montreal enters this weekend with only one game played in the 2015 MLS season. But the team did manage to move on in the CONCACAF Champions League, with their 2 - 0 home win over Alajuelenseon Wednesday.

The Impact suffered a 1 - 0 road loss in their season opener to DC United and, after a week off from league play, make their second outing of the year. They will finally get to play at home next weekend, when the fans will fill the seats at Saputo Stadium to welcome expansion team Orlando City, who enter this weekend in first place in the Eastern Conference. They have been anticipating Kaka's appearance with Orlando, and have sold well over 30,000 tickets to the game, as was revealed in their weekly press release on the MLS affiliate website.

New England sits in the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, with two road losses to start their 2015 season. They finally return home, hoping to see more of Lee Nguyen, who made his season opening appearance last week as a substitute and gave the team about 20 minutes of time on the field.

Jermaine Jones still remains sidelined from off-season surgery, and his return is still unknown to this point.

New England's defense was miserable in their season opener, giving up three goals to Seattle. It could have been much worse, as Seattle certainly had their way with the Revolution. In their second match, they helped New York City FC fill Yankee Stadium, but ended up losing 2 - 0, and again looked like they are not ready for this year.

Keep in mind, we are talking about a team that has made it to the finals last year, but who went through a similar situation just a year ago, only to end up in the MLS Cup finals. As long as they are not putting the team they would like to have on the field, it will be hard-pressed to expect them to break out without their stars on the field.

Quick Analysis & Prediction Quick Analysis:

We don't have much to go on here, with Montreal having only a 1 - 0 loss in league play after a week off, and New England playing miserable soccer to get their season started. We do remember, however, that the Revs got off to a similar start last year and did manage to find their way through the Eastern Conference, all the way to the finals against Los Angeles, which took extra time to finish.

Neither team has a goal to their credit as of yet, and without a completely healthy Lee Nguyen and Jermaine Jones for New England, it might take a while to see the ball in the back of the net.

Well, they both have a lot to prove to us before we can start recommending goals to be found with these two on the same field, so this Under 2.5 at a reasonable -120 makes plenty of sense as a recommendation.

Montreal may be able to score against lower tier clubs from Costa Rica, as they did in their Champions League encounter, but New England should be able to keep them at bay.

This feels like a 1 - 1 type of match, so hopefully that is exactly what we will see to cash the Under ticket.
