MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Los Angeles vs Seattle
Friday, October 24th, 2014By Ej Garr
MLS Odds:So we meet again. After a 2 - 2 draw last weekend, nothing was decided when it pertains to the Supporters Shield. That is what is given to the best team in MLS as far as points go, and this battle is tied at 61, but Seattle holds all tie breakers.
With 19 Wins to LA's 17, Seattle only needs a Draw or Win to claim the #1 Overall seed in the playoffs, which comes with Home Field Advantage. LA will be without their big man in the middle as Omar Gonzalez took a Red Card in the 88th minute of the last meeting.
He will have to sit and watch, and that is certainly a big loss for LA's defense. Seattle scored two goals in 3 minutes after going down 2 - 0 in the last meeting, and they will surely not want it to come to that again.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
Well, we knew the first meeting would a high-scoring affair, and they didn't look all that great barely making it to the half with a late goal to see 1 - 0. The Galaxy came out the aggressor in the second half and took a 2 - 0 lead, but watched it evaporate with two goals in the 69' and 72'.
That makes this the single, most important game of the season, and all eyes will be watching the early match of the 5 game slate set forSaturday.
Also keep in mind that LA needs at least a point to keep DC United from catching them for the #2 Overall seed in MLS.
Why would we look somewhere else than we did last weekend? Seattle knows that they can simply Draw to advance, but does anyone really expect them to sit back and hope for a 0 - 0 Draw and keep LA at bay for 90 minutes? On top of the fact that Gonzalez is out of LA's backline, there is no way Seattle wants to do anything but take a Win and take it as big as they can. We point ourselves to the Over 3 again, expecting no less of a shootout than we saw a week ago.
