MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI Los Angeles vs Salt Lake
Friday, October 31th, 2014By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: The Galaxy looked like they were on the fast track to having home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and then they found themselves without a win in their last 3 matches. With a 2 - 1 loss to Dallas, and only 1 point to show from a home and home with Seattle, they ended the year 0W - 2L - 1D and now find they need to rebound to start the Conference Semis on the road.
Salt Lake used their home field advantage all season, which saw them go 11 - 1 - 5 with one loss the entire season at Rio Tinto Stadium, and are riding a 10-match undefeated streak at home.
Defensively, these are the best two teams in the West at keeping opponents out of their net, with 37 and 39 GA respectfully, and is certainly why they are 2-3 in the standings. LA does have the advantage of GF with 69 scored to Real's 54 scored.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
The Galaxy is playing their worst soccer of the year at the wrong time. They are the only one of the 5 playoff teams that limped into the post season finding 1 point down the stretch when it mattered most.
We all know Landon Donovan is done after this season, and if LA doesn't start playing better, he will retire after this home and home with Real Salt Lake.
Real Salt Lake cares none about Donovan and trying to help him go out with a bang. The only bang they want to hear is the sound of the crowd when they take out LA.
If it goes down anything like last year's playoff Quarterfinals that means LA is finished again by the same team that knocked them out before.
I don't think Real Salt Lake is one bit afraid of this LA Club and I expect them to head to LA for the back half of the home and home in position to finish them off.
In case of a draw I will take Salt Lake and the Pk at -125, because it could be 1 - 1.
