MLS Odds: The Montreal Impact will be seeking their first win against the defending Champion Los Angeles Galaxywhen the two meet at StubHub Centeron Saturdaynight, although the sample size of three meetings is not exactly a lot to go by.

Montreal comes into the weekend sitting in the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference standings, after taking three points from the Chicago Fire at home last weekend. The Impact and the Fire played to a 4 - 3 result, which went back and forth as the half hour mark approached. Didier Drogba finally made his way to the field and had a huge day, scoring his first MLS hat trick in his first start of the season.

Drogba got the scoring started in the 27th minute, but Chicago tied it at one with a penalty kick from Jeff Larentowicz in the 36th minute.-

Montreal again took the lead in the 42nd minute, but the Fire again replied with definitiveresponse to make it 2 - 2 going to the half.

Chicago scored first in the second half to take a 3 - 2 lead, but Drogba added two late second half goals to secure a much needed three points for the Impact who were fading out of the playoff picture.

The Impact's Laurent Ciman was given a red card after receiving two previous yellows in the game against Toronto FC two weeks ago, which means that he'll be suspended for the Galaxy match and will be out against the Earthquakes on September 16.

Los Angeles appeared to have everything going in their favor as they entered their match with San Jose two weekends ago, but amazingly the Galaxy were held scoreless for the first time sinceJuly 25, when they lost 3 - 0 to Houston.

The Galaxy relinquished their first place position in the Western Conference with the loss, as Vancouver earned three points against Colorado to overtake Los Angeles atop the table, and are now the league leaders chasing the Supporters Shield with the best record in the league.

Los Angeles was fortunate to have last weekend off, as six players on the roster were making international appearances that would have seen them out had they had a game on the schedule.

    Quick Analysis & Prediction

    Quick Analysis:

We almost feel bad for Cameron Porter and Kenny Cooper, who have been lost to season-ending injuries for the Impact. They would have had a field day against this Los Angeles club, although we see that the Impact offense isn't exactly sputtering with Drogba finally giving the Impact fans a reason to cheer, other than just because of who he is and what he has done before coming to MLS.

How many goals do you expect to see? That Over 3 is hysterical at -140, as the line setters think they can make us pay for that line.

We are moving this line on the total to 3.5 to get +110, instead of chasing a straight 3 at -140, because that is simply unacceptable for us to recommend.

We will see those four goals to cash the ticket, and we may see them all come before halftime, which leaves us room for a play on the first half Over 1.5 at +110 if you so choose to play that action as well.
