MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Los Angeles vs Dallas
Friday, May 8th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: The Galaxy let a golden opportunity to steal three points go by the wayside last weekend, missing an extra time penalty kick against Real Salt Lake that would have given the defending champs a much needed three points.Injuries are still a contributing factor as to why they cannot seem to muster up a lick of offense lately and, under normal circumstances, Juninho would never be put in the position to take a kick from the spot with the game in the balance.
You could see it in his eyes when he was asked to take the kick, that he was over his head and the missed penalty kick was really no surprise. The defending champs have been a train wreck on the road the entire season so far, not having a single win to show in five outings.
This is the second of three straight road games, while playing four of five away from StubHub Center.
Former Chivas keeper Dan Kennedy earned his first win in a Dallas uniform last weekend, after the 4 - 1beatdown of Houston in the Texas derby. All four of the front line players scored for Dallas, with Hollingshead, Castillo, Diaz and Texeira all finding the net against Tyler Deric, which at the time was the second straight outing that Houston allowed four goals.
Dallas has got to be eager to get this game going, knowing that a depleted Galaxy club is coming to town that has no offensive continuity at the moment. Dallas finds themselves tied for first place in the Western Conference standings with Vancouver having 17 points, and since they allowed four goals to Colorado, they have earned 7 points in their last three games, outscoring their opponents 8 - 4.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
We are as eager for Dallas to take the field as they are, because this +140 line on the home side to take these three points is the most inviting play we have on the board this weekend in MLS.
Dallas is grooving on all cylinders, and LA still has plenty of issues with injuries, and also comes off a match where the last thing they did was let three points completely slip away because they have no one to take the big shot when they need it most.
This Dallas 3-way line easily makes our board this weekend, and the +140 makes it that much better.
Dallas has four players who can score, and Los Angeles has no idea who they can count on to get a result of any type.
Until the Galaxy figures out how to do anything away from home this year, we will gladly fade them on the road and, as mentioned, the +140 line is as sweet as it gets.
