MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI - Kansas City vs New York
Tuesday, October 28th, 2014By Ej Garr
MLS Odds:In a rematch of the last game of the regular season, Kansas City now has to head to New York instead of hosting a match in Eastern Semi's, due to their 2 - 0 loss on the 26th.
New York held Kansas City scoreless at home to secure a home game and they most certainly have the scorers that Kansas City lacks. New York’s Bradley Wright-Phillips easily led all of MLS with 27 goals, although the guy right behind him is from Kansas City.
Dominic Dwyer had 22 goals this year, but it was clear who of the two has the heads-up edge, with Wright-Phillips scoring both goals in the 2-goal win to end the regular season. Kansas City does not have another player with at least 5 goals scored other than Zusi. Meanwhile Thierry Henry has double-digit goals and Tim Cahill might not have had the best regular season, but he is always a huge threat to find the net.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
Three goal scorers to one is how I analyze this match. As long as NY understands and can repeat the frustration of Dominic Dwyer, there is no other threat on the pitch. For the most part, New York's defense is still suspect, and it may be what leads to a later elimination when they face a club with more than one threat. Today, however, there is no such threat.
New York is the play here without doubt, and +105 on New York at home is more than attractive. They earned the spot beating this same club to do it, so as hard as it is to repeat a performance, there is not enough of a threat from KC to stop the Red Bulls from the same type of result.
