MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Dallas vs Vancouver
Tuesday, October 13th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: For the second time in a week Dallas and Vancouver square off to conclude their season series that could help decide who comes out on top of the Western Conference this year. With a mere point separating the two teams at the top of the conference, last week's battle at BC Place resulted in a scoreless draw, leaving each team with a point as they each look to clinch spots in the post-season.
Should Dallas earn three points at homeon Wednesday, Oscar Pareja's club could guarantee no worse than a third place finish, which will also ensure a home game in the playoffs.
Of course, the win would also bring them within a tie with the New York Bulls who are on 54 points entering the mid-week set of games.
The Red Bulls will also be playingon Wednesdayagainst Toronto.
Los Angeles and Sporting Kansas City will be facing off on the final day of the regular season, which will greatly benefit whomever comes away with the win. With 16 wins, that will make it impossible for Sporting KC to catch either club.
Should there be another draw here at Toyota Stadiumon Wednesday, Dallas will have to at least win one of their final two games, which will come against Real Salt Lake and San Jose, who are both deep in the playoff discussion now that sixth place offers a post-season berth. Remember, last season only the top-five teams from each conference made the playoffs, but with this being an expansion year, six teams from the West and East will be in the post-season.
A win for Vancouver will put them at 54 points, and essentially put them in the driver’s seat for a top-two finish in the West. The Caps have already taken a 1 - 0 home result and a 0 - 0 draw in the two meetings between the two teams, so should they be tied on wins and points, Vancouver would hold the secondary tie-breaker.
In the scoreless draw between the two last Wednesday, Vancouver only managed one shot on goal in each half, while Dallas didn't look much more convincing. We could see from the start of the game that neither side really had much to offer, but we did indeed offer the +0.5 on Dallas here at DSI which came in easily for our readers and bettors to enjoy.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
You would think that at this point of the campaign, with only limited chances left to gain ground, we would have seen a different contest from last week's game, but you could feel that these two were happy with the point from the draw, instead of making a mistake to cost someone three points.
Should they come out similar to last week, we might once again be watching a game that had no real significant chances being taken that could lead to some scoring.
We are again offering a play on Dallas as we did last week, but in this case we must turn to the 3-Way line, as we expect Dallas to come away with three points in this outing.
With a 1 - 0 score in mind and a low-scoring affair likely to come again, we can simply hope that Dallas is the team that finds the net at least once to help us cash this ticket.
The 3-Way 1x2 line of -105 on the home side makes the board for us, expecting Dallas to grab the horns and take command of the Western Conference standings.
With only two losses for Dallas at home this season, and Vancouver struggling to get results since their Canadian Championship win over Montreal, 1 - 0 sounds just about right to us.
