MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI Dallas vs Philadelphia
Thursday, March 19th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: Dallas enters the weekend as the only team with two wins to start the season, although DC United could match the feat this weekend, being 1 - 0 and having last week off. Portland has played two entirely different matches through their first two games, although both have resulted in draws.
So far, what we've seen from Dallas is a 1 - 0 win against San Jose that came in the waning seconds of extra time, and a 3 - 1 victory last weekend over Sporting KC. Sporting did miss a late PK opportunity to pull it within 3 - 2 with about 10 minutes left in regulation, but Englishman Dom Dwyer couldn't convert from the spot. Philadelphia played an eventful 0 - 0 draw with Colorado to open the season, and last weekend played to a 3 - 3 result at Real Salt Lake. Like we said, two completely different games, but yet only two points to show for it.
Fernando Aristeguietascored both of the Union's goals in the first half, giving them a 2 - 1 lead heading in to the locker room, and they came out flat early in the second half. Within 10 minutes of the second half whistle, it was 2 - 2 when Jamison Olave put a Garcia pass in the back of the net for RSL.
Just three minutes later, Olave wore the goat moniker when he found his own net to give the Union a 3 - 2 lead, and it took a yellow card to Aristeguieta, resulting in a Soborio chance from the spot, and he convertedthe penalty kick to give both teams a point.
We'll assume that Dallas remembers being knocked out of the U.S Cup by this Philly team, who did indeed make to the U.S Cup final, but eventually lost right here at PPL Park to Seattle in extra time, 3 - 1.
Revenge could certainly play its role in the match, but as we are about to show you, Philadelphia has never beaten Dallas in a MLS match in 7 attempts.
Last 7 MLS Meetings:
The two have 7 all-time MLS meetings, with Dallas having never lost to the Union. They have 3 wins and have drawn 4 times, although Philadelphia did win their U.S Cup match 2 - 1 after extra time and a shootout last year.

Quick Analysis & Prediction Quick Analysis:
Both teams come off 3 goal performances last time out, and that certainly makes us notice that Over price of +105 in this one.
The obvious question might be, ‘Which type of match will Philly play today?’ The uneventful, low-scoring draw, or the high-scoring type of game we just saw. This is the MLS after all, and one thing we enjoyed last season here at DSI in our previews was taking totals to go Over, especially with lovely prices like +105 is.
You guessed it! These two are not exactly fond of each other in this early rivalry they are developing, and Philly needs to carry this crowd in hopes of three points, instead of settling for one each weekend. The draws will help away from home in the long run, but it's the home draws that can also hurt you in the long run.
Dallas is not going to change their pace, and we know they have the talent to find the net, so we are going there again!
The Over 2.5 at a more than reasonable +105 makes our board to start off our weekend. Univision will carry the match, as they will carry everyFridaygame throughout the season, so we will be watching to see what we can learn for next weekend.
